Donald Peter Hydomako of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the age of 78.

Donald was born on October 15, 1947 in Biggar, Saskatchewan. He worked for Truck Outfitters before retirement, and he loved both hockey and football; mainly cheering for the Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, or for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Nora Rollinson; his two sons and step children; and by his extended family. He was predeceased by his parents and by a few of his siblings.

Following Donald’s wishes, there is to be no service held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks instead that a donation be made in Donald’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, www.heartandstroke.ca, or to the Central Alberta Cancer Centre, 3942 50a Ave, Red Deer, AB, T4N 6R2.
