Philip Thomas Conway of Penhold, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on June 16, 2026, at the age of 80 years.
Philip was born in Stephenville, Newfoundland on April 23, 1946. For the majority of his adult life, Philip worked as a heavy equipment operator with NFLD Hydro, in Churchill Falls, NFLD, where he and his wife Marjorie raised their two children, Duane and Marlo.
Philip will be lovingly remembered by his children, Philip Duane Conway and Marlo Andrea Conway-Heffern (Troy); grandchildren, Jay Conway, Natasha Heffern, and Emily Heffern; great grandchildren; brothers William (Darlene), Stan (Debbie); sister Mary Arsenault and brother-in-law Hector Peach (Patsy) and sisters-in-law Yvonne George and Jessie Conway. Also leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Philip was predeceased by his loving wife, Marjorie (nee Peach); brother Gerard Conway; sister-in-law June Sooley; and brother-in-law Rick George.
