Norman Delbert Hillman of Sherwood Park, Alberta passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 91 years.

Norm was born in Fleet, Alberta and moved to Edmonton in his late teens. He married Betty on April 3, 1958 and moved to Sherwood Park in 1967 where they raised their family. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, and the Operators Union where he made several lifelong friends during his career pipelining.  

Norm is survived by one son, Greg (Marika); one daughter, Lorraine; six grandchildren, Krista (Dan), Sean, Dan (Megan), Alanna (Chris), Erin (Tyler) and Brendan; and eight great-grandchildren, Jackson, Noah, Henry, Cooper, Scottie, Hannah, Cohen and Grayson.  Also survived by one sister, Evelyn and one brother, Gordon.

He was predeceased by his wife Betty; parents, Rubert and Violet, sisters, Marge and Eunice, and brothers, Frank and Ken.

A graveside service for the interment of Norm's urn will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 12:30 pm at Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer County AB followed by a Celebration of Norm's Life at 1:00 pm, at the Pioneer Lodge, 4324 - 46 A Ave., Red Deer AB.
