Dale LaFrenere passed away suddenly on July 2, 2021 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 74, after along battle with metastatic breast cancer.
It would be wrong to say Dale lost her battle because she never stopped fighting and staying positive every day. She just said it was another hiccup in life, and she had a goal in mind to surpass this nasty disease. Through her, we know what resilience, and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Dale. Just because she is no longer here it does not mean she lost her fight. What she left all of us in life has the power to live on inside our hearts and our minds forever.
Dale is survived by two children Meaghan (Steve) Everall, Brent (Rebecca) Everall ; a twin brother David (Gale) LaFrenere and sisters Denise LaFrenere (Mike Young) and Michele (Bruce) Forbes. Dale is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Of course, not forgotten are her many good friends and families of the people that were in her care.
Memorial services will be held in both Alberta and Ontario later this summer.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes you to buy a bird feeder, hang it on your favorite tree, and from time to time think of Dale and also please make sure you take the time to hug your loved ones tight.
