Edward Alexander Delaurier passed away peacefully in Red Deer, Alberta, on the 22nd of December, 2024, at the age of 81.
Ed was born on October 14th, 1943, in St. Rose, Manitoba. He spent a lifetime sharing fellowship through music, and was known as the neighbourhood’s “Mr. Fix It”, always willing to lend a hand to anybody that needed it. Ed had a very long and respected career as a Linesman, working all over rural Alberta. He also enjoyed many years as a member of the Canadian Legion and Lions Club.
Ed is survived by his wife Sharon; children Duane, Sherry, Pamela, and Ben; step children Cindy, Peggy, and Walter; and by many loving grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Wayne, grandson Tyrese Harder, and granddaughter Kaitlyn Wiley.
