Obituary of Lorna Katherine Carroll

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorna Katherine Carroll who left us suddenly on May 5, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born on July 20, 1953, in Botha, Alberta, to Howard and Evelyn Hinkle. Lorna grew up surrounded by family, community, and the values that shaped her caring and compassionate spirit. She dedicated her professional life to nursing, a career that reflected her deep commitment to helping others and making a difference in the lives of those around her.

Lorna was a proud and loving mother to her son, Ken Travis, and daughter-in-law, Cori Travis. She adored her grandchildren and was extremely proud of Taylor Travis and Justin Travis, who brought her great joy and pride.  She also leaves behind her siblings Dale & Janis Hinkle, Verina & Robert Cameron, Velma & Roger Gilbert, Dewey & Cheryl Hinkle, and their families.

A private and humble person, Lorna requested that no formal service be held. Her family will honor her wishes and remember her in their hearts, cherishing the many special moments they shared together.

Her kindness, strength, and quiet grace will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
