Norman John Hanna of Sundre AB passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 96 years.

Norm was born on February 7, 1929, in Trochu AB to parents Edith and John Hanna.  As an adult, he pursued his love of farming, settling in the Sundre area. It was in the Sundre area where Norm married, raised his sons, farmed, and was a part of the community for so many years. Though farming was his passion, Norm also enjoyed numerous ports, including hockey and baseball.

Norm is survived by his wife Elaine; Curtis and Jim; grandchildren Ryan, Cassidy and Raven as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

A memorial service to honor Norm’s life will be held this fall, after harvest. Details will be announced later.
