Olene Caroline Goode of Delburne, Alberta, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025.

Olene was born on August 15, 1958 in Vancouver, BC, and was raised primarily in Squamish, BC. She married in 1979, and divorced in 2010. She then married Michael Patrick Goode on April 30th, 2011, in Delburne.

Olene attended Howe Sound Secondary and ran her own businesses for many years, working mainly in retail. She loved volunteering in her community, working with the Economic Development Committee of Delburne, and Cooking with Seniors in Delburne. She also helped rais funds for seniors living by organizing Poker Runs with the local bike clubs.

Olene will be lovingly remembered by her son Lloyd ‘Cody’ Haynes; stepdaughter Sabrina Goode; grandchildren Tessa Smith, Kristopher Kilvington, and Kayden Kilvington; brother Scott Richard Olson (Trudy); sisters Cheryle Hodson (Barry), Karen Essiambre (Mike), Pilaar Yule (Ron), and Kada Olson; mother-in-law Friedel Goode; as well as by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Vivian Mae and Ole R. Olson; and by her husband Michael Patrick Goode.
