It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Allan Olson, age 70, of Springbrook, Alberta. Bruce passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his daughter, Lindsay; his cherished grandchildren, Kingston and Koen; and his sister, Vicky. He will also be fondly missed by extended family members and many friends who were touched by his warmth, humor, and kindness.

Bruce was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors—especially when fishing—playing cards with his family, and cheering for his favorite teams, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Edmonton Oilers. His easygoing nature, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at the Red Deer Hospice for their exceptional care and support during Bruce’s final days.
