Diane Mallison of Sundre, AB passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the Myron Thompson Health Centre in Sundre, AB on October 27, 2025 at the age of 76 years.

Diane was born on March 31, 1949 in Castor AB to parents Margurite and Russel Cook.

Diane is survived by her daughters Melissa (Darrell) Berling, Danielle (Don) Mallison, and Alicia (Claude) Simpson; grandchildren Derek (Carrie) Mackinstosh, Dustin (Shaylene) Mackintosh, Austin (Sydney) Mackintosh, Tyler (Kayli) Berling and Haley (Landon) Berling; great grandchildren Blaire, Braxton, Callie, Harper, Liam, Asher, Lily, Dominic and Izabella. Also to cherish her memory are her brothers – Bruce (Estelle) Cook & Bob (Kathy) Cook as well as numerous cousins, nieces & nephews, and her dear friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Larry Simpson; son Michael Simpson; parents Kay & Marg Cook and sister Sheila Sturrock.

A private family interment service will be held at the Bergen Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2026 with details to be announced.
