Rolly Ramos Daz of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on September 15, 2023, at the age of 46 years.

Rolly Ramos Daz was born November 10, 1976, in Binalonan Pangasinan, Philippines. He studied at the Panpacific University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Rolly enjoyed staying active. He played basketball, loved singing, biking especially his red bike, and participated in the Martial Arts (Karate in Kuntaw, Philippines).

Rolly and his wife Marilou were married for 31 years. They had six beautiful children together. For his family, Rolly moved to Canada seeking greener pastures. During part of his career in Canada, he worked as a union representative at Olymel. A highlight of his life was when Rolly was given the opportunity to meet our former Prime Minister, Stephen Harper in Ottawa.  

Daz will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marilou Daz; three sons, Romar B. Daz, Rolly Jr B. Daz, Rhaymond B. Daz; three daughters, Rayshell Ann B. Daz, Rhian Christine B. Daz, Roxanne Marrie B. Daz; grandchildren, Sapphire B. Daz, and Kiefer B. Daz; and his siblings, Ronald R. Daz, and Rosie R. Daz.   

Funeral mass for Rolly will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Mary’s Parish, 6 – McMillian Avenue, Red Deer AB at 11:00 am.
