Leon Braseth Obituary

Leon Braseth of Bashaw, AB passed away on March 6th, 2024 at the age of 62 years.


Leon will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Kari of 42 years; children Erika (Chuck) Ames, Karleen Braseth, Megan (Tommy) Braseth & Josh (Davis) Marks; his grandchildren Ethan Orser, Emma Braseth, Scarlet & Matilda Ames; his brother Barry Braseth; his sister-in-law Lissa Braseth; brother-in-law Darryl (Janice) Gruntman; brother-in-law Peter (Adele) Towpich; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Leon was predeceased by his parents Angus & Ruby Braseth; brother Wayde Braseth; sisters-in-law Denise Solverson and Twylene Towpich and in-laws Betty & Bert Gruntman.


A Celebration of Life will be held at Bashaw Community Centre on March 23rd, 2024 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Red Deer Alzheimers Society, #G5, 5550-45 Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1L1, or to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
