Obituary of Ernest William Mansell

Ernest William Mansell was born August 30, 1951 and passed away peacefully on October 16, 2020 at the Red Deer Hospital with his brother, Stan, by his side.

Ernie was predeceased by his father, Leonard Mansell, in 1967; brother Daniel Leslie Mansell in 1968, mother Christine Mansell in 1983, and sister Mildred Ruth Gross in 2016.

He is survived by his brother, Stanley Mansell of Red Deer, who was his primary carer for most of his years; sister Alice Mansell of Penticton, BC; brother Robert Mansell of Calgary, AB, and sister Jean Knight of Nanaimo, BC.

Ernie had many challenges throughout his long and eventful life. He was loved and cared for by all of his family who will dearly miss him, his ‘stories’ and his adventures.

A memorial will be held for Ernest in 2021.
