Obituary of Wade Allan Docken

Wade Allan Docken of Ponoka, Alberta passed away at home on March 19, 2021 at the age of 44 years.

Wade was born in Ponoka in December 1976 to Vera and Alfred Docken. He grew up in the community and started working for West Coast Amusements at the age of 13. He went on to spend almost every summer with the company until COVID. He loved old-school Chevys and big trucks, including Kenworths and Peterbilts.

Wade is lovingly remembered by fiancée Nadine Foulkes; son Cody and stepson Gordon; daughters Sam, Felicity, Shania and Hayley, and stepdaughters Tara and Sabrina; eight grandchildren; sister Nicki; mom Vera; nephews Jesse and Patrick Paul; and friends Tony Stewart, Will Hartman and Ross Lutz. He was predeceased by his father, Alfred.

A Celebration of Life will take place. Due to COVID restrictions, the Celebration will be by invitation only.
