Obituary of Kevin Blaine Evans

Kevin Blaine Evans of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on September 6, 2021 at the age of 59 years.

Kevin was born in 1962 to Norma Jean and Victor Evans in Rocky Mountain House. He attended school in Rocky Mountain House and went to work at a young age.

Kevin started off working on the rigs and then went to work for the family construction business. Further along in his life, he also logged and operated heavy equipment for many local companies.

Kevin dearly loved his two children, Jenna and Jayson, and spent most of his weekends doing some of his favourite things with them. Some of his favourite things included hunting, fishing, hiking, going for drives, attending concerts, going to movies, and having a hot dog roast with family.

Later on in life, Kevin became a grandfather to Elsie, Koen and Elinor Kruse, and loved being their “Papa Kevin.” Kevin loved wholeheartedly and will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Kevin is lovingly remembered by his son Jayson Evans (Taylor); daughter Jenna Evans (Justin); grandchildren Elsie, Koen and Elinor; brothers Donald (Gloria), Dean (Pat), Dale (Becky) and Dwight. He was predeceased by his parents, Vic and Jean.

A Celebration of Life will be held at at a later date (previously scheduled service has been cancelled).
