Donovan was the first-born son of Edward & Joy Fowler in 1940 in Innisfail, Alberta. Donovan was a kind and loving man, well respected in his community. He lived his life devoted to his savior Jesus Christ and his service to the Lord touched many lives.

He will also be missed by Glen Jackson who Dad treated as his fourth son; sisters which he referred to as his treasures: Meridel, Jan, Pat, and Nancy and a sisters-law Susan and Sheril, along with their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews; uncle Paul Love and uncle Jim and aunt Jeanette Scoular; many cousins and friends.
