Obituary of Cameron Ward Fowler
It is with great sadness that we announce that of Mr. Cameron “Cam” Ward Fowler of Brooks AB passed away suddenly on January 1, 2022 at the age of 51 years. Cam was the first-born son of Roderick Gerald and Sherrill Ann Fowler and was born in Edmonton, AB in 1970. He was a hard worker and well known in the community, Cam worked 20 years for JBS FOODS in Brooks. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed their three pets. Cam also enjoyed doing autobody work in his garage on cars, especially the older ones. He also was very musically talented, enjoying playing the acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard and drums and would never say no to a good jam session with friends.
Cameron will be greatly missed by all. He is lovingly remembering by his beautiful wife of 11 years, Sorphea Khat and daughter Saralee Fowler who he loved dearly and enjoyed spending time with, mother Sherrill Fowler; in-laws Por Saut and his wife Net Nem. He was like a father to Tony his nephew. Cameron will also be missed by his long-time best friend Ronnie who he treated as his own brother. Cameron also leaves behind his brother Patrick; sisters-in-law Theon Sath (Bruce) and Tia Sath; brother-in-law Somoun (Sophally). Also, to cherish Cameron’s memory are aunts Meridel, Judith, Jan, Pat, Nancy, Joan, Gaye, Jan, Kim, Charlene as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Roderick Fowler.
Due to current Covid social gathering restrictions, a private family by invitation only Celebration of Cam’s life will be held.
