Obituary of Tracy Lee Becher

With a heavy heart and great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved, Tracy Lee Becher, on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the age of 51 years.

Tracy’s vibrant personality and love of life were a shining light she brought to every situation and person she met. Tracy profoundly impacted all those who knew and loved her, and the loss will be felt by many.

Growing up as a child of an RCMP member, Tracy moved around often, but on June 11, 1994, she married the love of her life, Kirby, and they settled down and established deep roots in Red Deer, surrounded by family and friends.  Tracy and Kirby welcomed Devon into their family in 1996 and Shea completed the family of 4 in 1999. Tracy looked forward to welcoming Brittany (Scherr) into the family next summer when she and Shea would marry and build the Becher family even more.

Family was everything to Tracy, and she will be deeply missed by those left to mourn her passing, her loving mother, Darlene, adoring father and stepmother, Don and Julie, younger brother and sister-in-law Craig and Maria and their children Dillon and Paige.  Tracy will also be deeply missed by numerous brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; aunts; uncles; cousins’ nieces and nephews. 

Tracy’s loving and giving spirit touched many and she will be deeply missed by countless friends both near and far.

A memorial service to celebrate Tracy’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 – McMillan Ave., Red Deer AB on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11:00 am. The service will also be livestreamed, instructions are below.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the STARS Foundation, Box 570, 1441 - Aviation Park NE, Calgary   AB   T2E 8M7.
