Obituary of Alma Iris Broad
Alma Iris Broad of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on December 7, 2022, at the age of 91 years, just two days shy of her 92nd birthday. Alma will be lovingly remembered by her two sons Bruce (Peggy) Broad, and Ross (Holly) Broad; her three daughters Jacqueline Ironside (Larry), and Nancy Broad (Blair McAuley); as well as her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Alma was predeceased by her parents Fred and Bertha Smith; her brother Freddie; her sisters Verna, Hazel, Olive, and Ethel; as well as her husband Bruce Broad.
As per Alma’s request, no service is to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, through their website at www.heartandstroke.ca.
