Obituary of Garry Grant Baird

It is with deepest sorrow to announce the passing of Garry Baird of Red Deer, Alberta, on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the age of 72 years.

Garry will be forever remembered by his wife Joyce Baird of 48 years; his son Gary Baird (Donna Gervais, Heather, Caiden), all of Red Deer. Garry will also be remembered by his mother Marg Baird of Red Deer; his sister Heather (Loren) Pratt and family of High Prairie; along with his brothers Dwight (Cherry) Baird and family of Lacombe, and Larry (Connie) Baird and family of Red Deer.

Garry was predeceased by his father Huntley (Nip) Baird in 2020.

As per Garry’s request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the ALS Society of Canada through their website at www.als.ca. Condolences to Garry’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “Baird” in the subject line.
