Obituary of Larry Wilfred Gouchey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Wilfred Gouchey in the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on January 17, 2023 at the age of 66 years. 

He is lovingly remembered by his mother Marie, his wife Vicki, his sons Jeremy and Jesse (Karla) and his daughter Jenna (Dave). Also his grandchildren that were so special to him, Evan, Charlie, and Dylan. He leaves his sister Allie and her children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Brian and Gary and his very special Auntie Jean. Larry loved the outdoors whether it was hunting with his cousins at Moose Heaven, snowboarding with his kids in the Rockies or walking his dogs, Tucker and Georgie on the city trails. Just before his passing he was thrilled to go to Vancouver to meet his two brand new grand babies - he was so happy.   We will all miss him so much.

A casual gathering of friends and family will be held at the Linn Valley Community Hall on February 25th, 2023 at 2:00 pm with prayers at 3:00 pm. A pot-luck feast will follow. A memorial bench will be placed at Three Mile Bend in the spring. Donations for this can be made to Vicki by email or cheque. Condolences to Larry’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
