Darlene "Dee" Spray-Feicht

Obituary of Darlene "Dee" Spray-Feicht

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce Dee (Darlene) Spray-Feicht of Bluffton, Alberta, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on January 31, 2023 at the age of 62.

Dee was born in November of 1960 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. She grew up and received her education in Roblin, Manitoba. After her education, she moved to Thompson, Manitoba and from there she settled down in Alberta working for Canada Post in Airdre and met her forever love Danny; eventually they made their homestead out west of Rimbey and she worked at Magic Suds and Tirecraft for 9 years. She loved music (with Danny), gardening, spending time with her flowers and making their quarter section a beautiful sanctuary for the past 35 years. Her favourite pastime was playing games with her grandchildren, and winning!

Dee will be lovingly remembered by her spouse of 35 years Danny Feicht; step-children Tracey Verhoeven of Lacombe, Alberta, and Trevor (Marcy) Feicht of Swift Current, Saskatchewan; grandchildren Gerrit and Carter Verhoeven, and Dayne and Shaelyn Feicht; brothers Norman Falkowsky of Calgary, Alberta, and Martin Falkowsky of Didsbury, Alberta; sisters Joyce (Byron) Chase of Okotoks, Alberta, Lill (Tony) Stephenow of Roblin, Manitoba, and Tracie (Neil) Randall Stouffer of Brandon, Manitoba; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends, and neighbours.

Dee was predeceased by her father David Falkowsky, her mother Helga Lavallee, and her brother David Jr.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Dee’s life will be held at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Red Deer regional Health Foundation. Condolences to Dee’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “Spray” in the subject line.
