It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Adrian Hermary passed on Tuesday, March 14 in Lacombe, Alberta, at the age of 68 years. Adrian was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta, and was the youngest of 13 children. His gentle and welcoming nature was the glue that kept his large family together. ‘Pa’ was known for his soft-spoken advice, gentle curiosity and warm home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Glenda; his children Theresa Hermary, Jason Hermary (Loranda), and Alli McKeen (Eric); grandchildren Brody Bartraw, Xander Hermary, Hannah (Joe Harden), Cole, and Aidan McKeen. Adrian also leaves to mourn many siblings, extended family, and friends. Adrian was predeceased by his parents Edouard and Lydia Hermary; father-in-law Mel Gilchrist; and numerous siblings, siblings in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 1st, 2023 at Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 - 39 Street, Red Deer, Alberta at 11:00 a.m. (Please note the corrected time for Adrian's service).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in Adrian’s name. Condolences to Adrian’s family may be emailed to email@example.com. Please indicate “Hermary” in the subject line.
