Obituary of Anthony Bruce Wayne Ward
Anthony Bruce Wayne Ward passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2023, at the age of 53 years.
Tony was born on December 19,1969 in Drayton Valley, Alberta to Grant & Christine Ward and spent his childhood growing up in Rimbey, Alberta. His life journey was filled with countless shenanigans & adventures. Tony did many things throughout his life, living in B.C. where he worked in the forestry industry, then moved forward to working for family in Lloydminster Sk.
Tony joined Westcoast Amusements & worked there for a couple of years where he met his wife, Keeshah. They settled in Provost, Alberta where he started working in the carpentry industry, which was a passion of his & he enjoyed very much.
Tony will be forever loved & missed by his mom Christine; daughters Miranda & Kaleesia; grandson Hunter; sisters Noreen (Greg), Tracey, Tina, Chandal, Tasha (Chris); brothers Trenton & Troy, ex wife & best friend Keeshah, & numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and his loyal friend, Darry Willier, or as Tony would call him, “his brother from another mother”. Tony was predeceased by his father, Grant Ward.
A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and the Baden Powell Adventure Center (Scouts/Guides Hall), 3924 – 46A St., Ponoka, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the “Old MacDonald Kennel” of Ponoka County, etransfers: omk.shelter@gmail.com. Donations over $25 qualify for a tax receipt.
