Obituary of Anthony Jason von Hollen

Anthony Jason “A.J.” von Hollen of Condor Alberta, passed away due to a tragic accident at the family farm on Friday May 5, 2023, at the age of 39 years.

A.J. was born on January 27, 1984, in Red Deer Alberta. He was raised in Leslieville and attended Leslieville Elementary and finished school at the David Thompson High School in Condor, Alberta.

A.J. worked on the rigs for a while, then moved on to heavy equipment at a gravel crushing company. He then spent the last few years of his life working on the family farm and scrapyard with his dad and brother. He loved life, was a daredevil at heart, had a keen sense of humour, loved his family, and will be forever missed.

A.J. leaves behind his son Nixon; daughters Ashlee and Makayla; mother Dianne; brother Jeremy; as well as numerous other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father Gerald Von Hollen, and his grandparents Ted and Lillian von Hollen.

No service is to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in A.J.’s name may be made directly to a charity of one’s choosing.
