Robert Earl Watson Obituary

Robert “Bob” Earl Watson of Rimbey Alberta recently passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital Edmonton on August 15th 2023 at the age of 62 years old. Bob loved everything country. Born in High River Alberta, his family moved to the Bluffton area where they established a family farm. Bob later purchased a small farm for himself after a period in the oil and gas industry. He mainly raised beef cattle and had a small apiary. Bob loved taking rides on his quad and snowmobile, out in the “west country”. As children, Bob’s daughters and friends have fond memories of backyard camping, outdoor activities, bottle feeding calves, family game nights, and going into town to rent movies. Bob put up a strong fight and will be missed by many.

Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife June Watson; two daughters Caitlin and Crystal Watson; two brothers Harold and Ronald Watson; two sisters Donna Fensky and Joyce Armstrong; and the many nieces and nephews that were a part of his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to University of Alberta Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences to Robert’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “Watson“ in the subject line.
