Obituary of Vera Marie Rennie

It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom, sister, grandma and great grandma, Vera Marie (Kind) Rennie on August 24th, 2023, at the age of 85 years. Vera will be remembered for her love of her family, her kind gentle soul, her love for sewing and crafts in her earlier days, family dinners, her special homemade birthday cakes and her times spent out camping in Nordegg with family and friends.

Vera is survived by her sister Irene (Reg) Wickens; sons Lyle (Charlotte), Loren (Janice), daughter Donna (Darcy) Lutz; six grandchildren, Alan (Kate), Adam (Charity), Darren Lutz, Lindsey (Curtis) Lagoutte, Jeff, Tony Illman; six great grandchildren Mila, Neiko, Grayson and Griffin Lagoutte, Hunter, Rylen Lutz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vera was predeceased by her husband Graham; daughter Carol Illman and 7 siblings.

A special thank you to Dr. “Quinn” Davidduck for his compassion and care shown to Mom.

At Vera’s request there will not be a funeral service.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made In Vera’s name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Red Deer.
