Obituary of Jordy Ryan McKenzie

Jordy Ryan McKenzie was born on March 9, 1976, in Peace River, AB to parents Rick and Nancy. He passed away suddenly at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on September 28, 2023.
 

Jordy was raised in Red Deer. After graduating high school, he joined his dad's business, Alberta Golf Works. Together they ran a successful custom golf club and golf simulator business. Jordy was one of the world's top 100 club fitters for over 10 years. Jordy loved golfing with friends, spoiling his nephew Layne and his cat Eddie. Jordy will be missed by many Central Alberta golfers.

He is survived by his parents Rick and Nancy of Red Deer; his sister Becky (Tran) Reinders of Penticton, BC; and his nephew Layne Reinders. He is also survived by many cousins, uncles and aunts.

A memorial golf tournament will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated. Condolences to Jordy’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “McKenzie” in the subject line.
