It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Eileen Deering on October 21, 2023 after a lengthy illness.

Susan was a leap year baby, born on February 29, 1964, in Red Deer. She attended school in Red Deer and then the University of Calgary, graduating with a Bachelor of Education degree. She taught for several years and loved her chosen career.

Susan is survived by her parents Gerry and Mary Jane Hepworth, and was predeceased by her brother Bruce.

At Susan’s request, there will be no funeral service. If friends desire, a memorial donation can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences to Susan’s family can be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “Deering” in the subject line.
