Bruce Alan Clarence passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on December 11, 2023 at the age of 70 years.

Bruce had many careers, he served in the Canadian Air Force/EOD, was a teacher, counsellor, right down to being your neighbourhood Santa.

Bruce was the beloved husband of Sylvia (Langeard) Clarence; dear father of Brianna Clarence, Kimberly (Kalvin) Phillips and a very loving grandfather of Simon, Darian, Kora, and Aryanna.  He is also survived by one brother William (Brenda Heron) as well a numerous nieces; nephews; extended family members and friends.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents Edward and Myrtle (Kingsley) Clarence; one brother Robert Clarence and sister-in-law Elisabeth (Lang) Clarence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Alberta Childrens Hospital, Stollery Childrens Hospital a toy drive of choice or to anything pertaining to brighten a child’s future.
