Obituary of Alexander Waldie

Mr. Alexander “Bruce” Waldie of Olds, Alberta, passed away at the Olds Hospital and Care Centre on January 9, 2024, at the age of 72 years.

Bruce is survived by his wife Diane; son James (Amy); daughter Joanna (Jason); and by his siblings Jeannette, Rex, and Ken. He was predeceased by his father John (Barb) Waldie, of Surrey, BC; and by his mother Margaret Waldie of Medicine Hat, AB.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hoeve and the staff at the Olds Hospital and Care Centre for the care he received there. They would also like to thank the staff of Seasons Encore as well as the staff and volunteers at the Olds Hospice Society.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Olds Royal Canadian Legion #105, or to  Accredited Supports to the Community of Olds.
