Carol Lee Friestadt Obituary

Our beautiful mom, Carol Lee Friestadt, who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed, passed away April 9, 2024. Carol was predeceased by her husband Len; sister Stella; son-in-law Dennis, and sister-in-law Joan. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her brother Bruce; children Cathy, Peter (Sherryll), Allan (Dana), Michael (Koren), grandchildren Amy, Nicholas, Ajay, and Jared. Nieces Susan, Carrie, Jennifer, nephew Bradley, and great nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends.  


 


Her love of family, friends, and sports (curling and golf) will be remembered in our hearts always. A special thanks to the staff at the Red Deer Hospice, Dr. Gudgeon and Dr. Tarukandirwa for giving Mom excellent care. A very special thanks to Ajay who looked after grandma for 2 months at home.


 


A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date this summer. Memorial donations can be made to the Red Deer Hospice gifts@reddeerhospice.com
