On April 10, 2024, Heidi Grace Klassen (58) of Red Deer, AB, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour after a long, hard battle with mesothelioma. 

In 1984, Heidi met Mel in Red Deer, AB. Heidi and Mel went on to have 3 children, Justin (Caitlin) Klassen, Chelsie (Paul) Goulet, and Spencer (Cheyenne) Klassen. Heidi and Mel later welcomed three grandchildren, Lainey & James Klassen and Marek Goulet. 

Heidi worked as an Education Assistant for most of her career in both the public and catholic school districts. Heidi had a passion for helping her students in whatever way possible from making turkey dinners to bringing them personal hygiene items. 

Services will be held at Deer Park Alliance Church on April 18, 2024, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hope Mission, an organization Heidi donated to and felt strongly about.
