Marie Soper of Stony Plain, Alberta, passed away at the Innisfail Hospital on May 2, 2024, at the age of 90.

Marie was born on August 30, 1933. She grew up, and did her schooling in Raymond, Alberta. Marie was married twice, first to Robert Morgan of Castlegar, BC, and second to Stan Soper of Lethbridge, Alberta. She later would spend a number of years in the company of Winston Weir of Stony Plain, Alberta.

Marie was a dance instructor for a number of years, and also spent time employed as a Key Punch Telephone Operator. She loved gardening, and spent many of her days tending to her acreage. Marie followed the Mormon religion for several years.

Marie will be lovingly remembered by her sons Robert, Kenneth, and Wade Morgan; daughter Katherine Marie (Morgan); three brothers; three sisters; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and by numerous other extended family members and friends.
