Obituary of Jossie Marie Peterson

Jossie Marie Peterson of Penhold, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on May 31st, 2024, at 2:00 AM, at the age of 41 years.

Jossie was born June 11, 1982, in Grimsby, Ontario to Margaret and Dennis Blundred. Jossie went to school in Ontario and Alberta, and graduated grade 12 in Alberta, also receiving her animal sciences diploma. Jossie had her first son Daniel, and was later married on December 17, 2014, to husband Henry Peterson. Jossie then had daughter Allyria, and then a son, Zachariah. Zachariah passed away due to heart failure at 5 months in the womb. Jossie later gave birth to another daughter, Annaleiah.

Jossie was a tax professional, accountant, as well as a member of the Innisfail Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. Jossie will be greatly missed, she was a blessing to many, and a great mother to her children. Jossie was always thinking of others and putting them before herself. Jossie was always taking initiative to do what she could to help others. She was a very strong and independent woman, and we will miss her greatly. We release her spirit to God, and we say bye for now, until we meet again.

Jossie will be lovingly remembered by husband Henry Peterson; son Daniel Blundred; daughters Annaleiah and Allyria Peterson; brothers Andrew and James Blundred, and Colby Peterson; parents Margaret and Dennis Blundred; sister and friend Robin Brand. As well as other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Innisfail Baptist Church (5204 Spruce Rd, Innisfail, AB) on Saturday July 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Innisfail Baptist Church, 5204 Spruce Rd, Innisfail, Alberta, T4G 1E3.
