Obituary of Carol Louise Peebles

Carol Louise Peebles of Red Deer AB passed away at the Red Deer Reginal Hospital Centre  on June 4, 2024, at the age of 66 years. Carol was born in Kamloops BC on July 20, 1957.

Carol Peebles, born in June,

Under Kamloops' gentle moon.

In Vavenby, her roots grew deep,

With memories that we now keep.

Seventeen years with Kirk, once her love,

Four mediocre kids she was proud of.

Their laughter filled her every day,

Their lives enriched in countless ways.

An artist's hand, both skilled and true,

In every medium, her talents flew.

With brush and clay, her spirit soared,

Creating beauty we all adored.

Cooking and baking, her passions ran,

Best over an open fire's span.

Her meals were crafted with love and care,

A family feast beyond compare.

Now with her son, she finds her peace,

From earthly troubles, a sweet release.

In heaven’s embrace, they now reside,

Together forever, side by side.

Her warmth, her joy, her endless grace,

In our hearts, she holds a special place.

Though we miss her every day,

Her light and love will always stay.

Carol will be lovingly remembered by her son, Cain (Kristine) Peebles; daughters, Kristy Peebles, and Kelly Peebles; grandchildren, Annika-lee, Justin, Will, Kaydee, Jaxon, Alyssa, Mason, and Luke; brother, Ted Hunsbedt; sisters, Margi Johnston, and Elva Ward; as well as by her many other family members and friends.

Carol was predeceased by her son Clint Peebles; sister, Terry Hunsbedt; and by her parents, Elsie and Norman Hunsbedt.
