Frederick Myron Freschette Obituary

Fred Freschette of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, passed away at home on July 7, 2024, at the age of 94 years.


Fred was born on August 5, 1929, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was a man of many hobbies, skills, and talents; from being a mechanic, a fisherman, collector, pirate ship builder, and much more. He was also the go-to man for anything railway or steam powered equipment, his many years in the industry gave him a wealth of knowledge.


Fred will be lovingly remembered by his many family members and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Constance “Connie” Freschette, in 2022.


Fred will be greatly missed by many. Rest in peace and keep steaming away.
