Tyson George Gaetz Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Tyson Gaetz announces his passing on July 29, 2024, at the age of 47 years. Tyson passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved son of George and Shirley Gaetz.

Tyson had a huge kind and caring heart and those closest to him will miss his laugh, great smile and sense of humour. Sunday drives and numerous trips to visit family and close friends were Tyson’s greatest joy. He enjoyed all sports and always cheered for the “Winner”, but did have his favorites. Tyson thoroughly enjoyed and loved the years spent with his worker Corie. We will be forever grateful for her dedication and kindness.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Jim for his ongoing care over the many years and also to the staff of Unit 31.

A private celebration of life for Tyson will be held at a later date. If desired, please consider a donation in Tyson’s memory to the Northern Alberta Kidney Foundation, 202, 11227 – Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L5. Condolences to Tyson’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “Gaetz” in the subject line.
