Stuart Richard Waldron Obituary

Stuart Richard Waldron of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on September 3rd, 2024, at the age of 79 years.

“Legacy is not leaving something for people, it’s leaving something in people.”

                                                                                          Peter Strople

Stu was born in Bishop’s Stortford UK, March 12, 1945. As a young child Stu moved across the pond to Alberta. Where he later joined the Royal Canadian Navy at 18, serving for 31 years.

Stu met his wife Heather when they were young and he adored her everyday of their lives, for 59 years of marriage. Stu loved golf, if he wasn’t playing, he was definitely watching golf and having a “wet” while doing it.

Stu will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Heather Waldron; son, Stuart Waldron (Karen); daughter, Stacy Waldron (Bryan); sister, Barb, as well as other family and friends.

Stu was predeceased by his parents, John and Daisy Waldron; brother, Alec Waldron and his sister, Dale.

“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”

Renee Wood
