Obituary of Theodore Julius Albers

Theodore (Ted) Julius Albers of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Hospital on August 25, 2024 at the age of 70 years. Ted was raised on a farm west of Bentley, and attended school in Bentley. Ted worked at various labor jobs during his adult years, and eventually settled back to his home farm. When the farm was sold, Ted moved to Red Deer where he lived until his passing.

He is survived by his brother Stanley (Marlene) Albers, of Stony Plain, Alberta; and by his sisters Judy (Lloyd) Gorbenko of Lacombe, Alberta, and Penny Albers of Three Hills, Alberta.

Ted was predeceased by his parents Violet and Julius Albers; sister Mary Kress; and by his brothers, David Albers and Howard Albers.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Safe Harbor for their care of Ted for the past year. Special thanks to nurse Lori for advocating for Ted’s care so that he could pass away in dignity.
