Wayne Dennis Kroeker of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on October 28, 2024 at the age of 78.

Wayne was born on July 25, 1946 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  His family moved to Coaldale, Alberta when Wayne was 18 months old, which is where he later met and married Hilda Striemer.  They were married 59 years.

Wayne held multiple jobs over his lifetime, including a department supervisor at Lilydale, a trucking company manager, used car salesman and dairy farm herdsman. Wayne was affiliated with First Baptist Church of Red Deer.  During his spare time, he enjoyed golf, horses, chess, playing harmonica and model trains.

Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his wife Hilda Kroeker; son Gary (Cara) Kroeker; grandchildren: Kathleen (Kyle) Roberts, Emilee (Alexander) Walker and Curtis (Brea) Kroeker; great grandchildren: Xavier, Maxwell, Eloise & Aleena; brother Randy Kroeker and sisters: Jerry Oler and Joanne Kope.

Wayne was predeceased by parents Martha and Dave; brother Gordon; sister Julene and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 4310 - 39 Street, Red Deer AB on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m..
