Mary Elizabeth Zimmer of Stettler, Alberta passed away at the Stettler Hospital and Care Centre on October 24, 2024, at the age of 59 years.

Mary was born December 17, 1964, in Manning, to Dave and Lorraine Zimmer. She graduated from Gus Wetter, Castor Alberta, in 1983. Mary had three children, Sarah born in 1985, Meagan born in 1988, and Dylan born in 1995. Mary had a heart of gold. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with children and animals.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her partner Richard and dog Bella; son, Dylan Zimmer (Kieran); daughters, Sarah Zimmer (Jay), Meagan Ratke; grandchildren, Coy and Hesston Zimmer; first husband, Randall Ratke, as well as other family, friends, and loved ones. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Dave and Lorraine Zimmer and her brother, Edward Zimmer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Hub Room at the Stettler Rec Center (6202 44 Ave Stettler) on November 9th, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
