Dennis Keith MacAskill passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on December 10, 2024, at the age of 67 years.

Dennis was born in Halifax Nova Scotia in May 1957. He was raised in Halifax and went to school in Shelbourne Nova Scotia. Dennis was involved with the Sea Cadets for many years, prior to moving to Alberta in 1984 and Red Deer in 1985. Dennis was also involved in the scuba diving community for a number of years.

Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his spouse, Pamela Cameron; sister, Cathy MacAskill; and his sister-in-law, Michele Cameron. Dennis was predeceased by his daughter Elisa Jane; brother, Wayne; both parents Teresa and Frank MacAskill.
