Obituary of Courtney Jayne Andersen
We are all devastated that “Cork” has left us far too soon (38 Years).
She was deeply loved not only by her parents and immediate family but by many aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, and lifelong friends.
There are many adjectives that have been used to describe our Cork: Spark, firecracker, kind, spunky, bright, witty, sarcastic, happy, fun, compassionate, a joy to have, cute-as-a-button and our favourite... Limited Edition.
A celebration of her life with us will be held at Festival Hall, 4214 - 58 Street, Red Deer, (beside Lindsay Thurber High School) on January 31, 2025, beginning at 1:00 pm and ending at 4:00 pm.
We hope that you will join us in a wake like no other to laugh, cry, dance and sing for our girl. (she will be watching and judging your moves). In the meantime, if you would like to please sign your donor cards, as per our Cork’s wishes, we would be grateful.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation instead to the Red Deer Hospice, Canadian Liver Foundation, or the Central Alberta Humane Society. There will also be bins for the listed charities at the celebration itself. Condolences to Cork’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate “Tayler” in the subject line.
