Obituary of John James Jensen
In Loving Memory of John James Jensen February 1, 1962 – December 19, 2024
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of John James Jensen, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. John passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 62, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Joan; children Courtney and Celine (Marshall); his sisters Kathy, Terry (Norm), Dolly, Heather (Rick); brother Greg (Brenda); as well as his Aunt Arlone and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his brother Barry (Sandra), his parents Chris and Kay, and his Uncle Lyle and Aunt Thelma (Cliff).
John’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. A dedicated first-class power engineer, he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues through his strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism. His commitment to family and friends was evident in every aspect of his life.
Outside of work, John found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from riding his Harley in the mountains to enjoying a good glass of whiskey with those he loved. His legendary dance moves, often seen at family gatherings and celebrations, will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of sharing those moments with him.
John’s spirit will forever live on in the many lives he touched. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service. A small, private celebration of life will be held with family and close friends.
Rest in peace, John. You are loved beyond words and will be missed more than you can imagine.
