Obituary of Margaret Jean Johnson
On June 1, 2020, in the presence of her family, Margaret “Jean” Johnson (nee Boyden), passed peacefully into the arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 81 years. Jean was born in the town of Elnora and grew up in the Lousana area. She married Frank Johnson on July 6, 1957. They raised their five children in the Bellgrove community where they lived and operated the family farm until 2019. Jean had a passion and dedication to her family and farming. Her commitment to her church and community service only grew with time. Jean is survived by her son Doug (Valerie) Johnson and their family Crystal and Doug Murphy, (Calvin, Reina, Walker, and Nadelle); Rhonda and Brent Krywolt (Avry and Jasmyn); Curt and Julie Johnson (Taydean, Brielle, Olin, Rhep and Dally); Jolayne Webb (Kaylie and Lucas); her son Sam (Theresa) Johnson and their family Katie and Jordan Radcliffe (Jace); Samantha Johnson; Joshua and Jayden Johnson (Gunnar and Jozef); her daughter, Nancy Hughes and her family Kyle; Brad and Jelisa Hughes; Sara Anketell (Amber); her daughter, Terry (Derek) Davidson and their family Rory and Jill; Becky and Dallas; Jocelyn and Brinley; and son Albert’s (deceased) children Stephanie and Ryan Johnson. Her three sisters; Dot; Leah; and Donna. Jean cherished her relationship with all her friends, neighbors, and extended family. Jean was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Frank in 2005; son Albert in 2014; son-in-law Kevin Hughes in 2018 and grand son-in-law Jason Anketell in 2017. A private family graveside service will take place at the Delburne Cemetery on Friday, June 12, 2020. For those wishing to pay their respects, friends are invited to drive slowly past the entrance to the cemetery between 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm.
