John Scott McColman of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on June 11, 2020 at the age of 54 years.
John was born in Rocky Mountain House to Bruce and Lila McColman. As a young man, he spent time outdoors enjoying fishing and camping with friends and family. John married Janice and they worked at building a life together while maintaining a blended family. He was known to his family and friends as a lover of sporty cars and four-by-fours. He worked hard until his health started to fail.
John was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed visiting with his spiritual brothers and sisters, sharing meals, stories and laughter. He was happy to have found love a second time with his wife Dyane, whom he married in 2012. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
John is lovingly remembered by wife Dyane; sons Jaden (Amanda), Kolton, Justin (Jessica) and Curtis; daughters Angela (Darcy) and Ashley (John); 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Barry; sister Carol; and father Bruce.
