Bernice and Harvey were very special friends of mine for over 60 years and it's especially sad that they have both passed on.
During the time after Bernice moved into a care facility I had reason to make quite a few trips to Edmonton. The special part of those trips was the stop in Red Deer to meet Harvey for lunch and a beer. Always the same restaurant and what seemed to be our own table. Much reminiscing and many laughs. Pretty much the same stories each time but it was always special and fun.
My sincere condolences to all the family.
